CYBER LAW / CYBERSPACE LAW

In today's 21st Century, the area relating to the computer field has been gushing. Many works are being executed on this device computer through internet connection. When this, the word 'Internet' is being used there came to be known as Information Technology ( IT ) OR the Internet World is simply known as Cyberspace. All the Laws relating in this field came to be known as Cyber Laws. Due to advanced technology all the tasks are being mainly done with the help of the internet. Every work is becoming more and more easier, our immense world is being connected by the internet. It became obligatory for the law to regulate  this world of the Internet. For the safekeeping of citizen's valuable data.  

Cyber law nowadays has become a paramount in our present society. Since, the word 'Crime' automatically initiated when any futuristic things evolved. The more advanced in technology, the fraudsters are also becoming more advanced in technology. We can also call it a computer crime or offence. Where all the unlawful acts are going to execute through this device called a computer. An instance, such as, sending a fake email to others, letting a particular link to be clicked in just a fraction of second. Which lets the user trust that particular link and make him / her fill up important personal data such as credit card / debit card, etc. In such a way the fraudster fools the user and is deceived. Cyber law includes the laws relating to Digital signature in electronic form, Intellectual Property, Data Protection & Privacy, Cyber crimes, etc. When any computer crimes occur we can take reference from 'The Information Technology Act, 2000' and the relevant punishment goes to Indian Penal Code. One can also launch a complaint in a Government Official Website www.cybercrime.gov.in OR by just dialing 1930. For example if the offence relates to online transactions then one must complain within 24 hours the offence occurs to get  99% effective result. Some of the Cyber crime includes, Loss of Privacy, Copyright, Impersonation, Cyber Stalking, Computer Viruses, Cyber Extortion, Computer Vandalism, Stealing secret information & data, Against Property, Unauthorized Computer Trespassing, etc. Another instance, such as, Income tax returns are now filed in electronic form, many companies used digital signatures while executing their contracts and stored their valuable data in e-format, citizens are using their internet banking for many online transactions, and many communications are also done through email, SMS, WhatsApp, etc. So, the laws relating to cyber crime are of utmost mandatory for the future generations to save their valuable data.
